morning walk

Heyyyyy we’re in the second half of 2025. WTFFFFFF.

My New Year’s resolution was to spend less time online so naturally I went and spent MORE time online.

Whoops.

Like, I discovered this thing called TikTok. Have you heard of it? It’s pretty great. My algorithm serves me up videos of cute dogs being cute, cute dogs dying, people doing funny things, people dying, so I’ve been simultaneously crying and laughing in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep.

I think it’s better than doomscrolling about our descent into fascism. Plus, instead of crying about the state of the world I’m spending it in denial while buying lots of ~*~*STUFF~*~*~

Like a battery-operated jar that washes your underwear! An electric tub scrubber! An old school digital camera that looks like an even older school film camera!

Which leads me to today’s post.

I took these pics on a little walk this morning, and I think they turned out pretty nifty. Now I can say I spent a little time offline doing something creative on my way to and from going online.

That’s progress, maybe?

Happy July, friends.

This van broke down, and people were pretty chill about it.

Real bodegas > vending machines that call themselves bodegas (fucking marketers)

Walkable, bike-able cities >>>
